As you know I am a big fan of Reality TV. I vowed not to watch “The Bachelorette” because the star of the show who was a contestant on the last “The Bachelor” wasn’t one of my favorites.

I made a mistake when I watched the first episode and of course I was hooked. Surprisingly enough I found Jillian to be quite charming, not at all like she was portrayed on “The Bachelor”.

Last night one of the contestants vying for her heart was given an ultimatum by his employer, stay and finish the show or leave the show early and keep your job. Wisely he chose his job.

What shocked me was Jillian appeared to be offended that he didn’t choose to stay on the show and try to win her heart. Are you kidding me? In this economy why would someone take a 1 in 10 chance that he would fall in love with someone he had only known for three weeks over financial security? If anything, Jillian should have been impressed with his good sense.
